World Thinking Day is a celebration of ten million girls worldwide that has taken place on every 22 February since 1926. It remains a day for all Guides and Girl Scouts to think of each other and celebrate their sisters all around the world.
While flagging off the Girls Guide and Girl Scouts from schools within Uasin Gishu County at the county headquarters, Deputy Governor Hon. Daniel Chemno, hailed the movement for playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of girls worldwide, by availing them with an enabling environment to think big.
In everything you do first think based on norms and laws of the land. Before you proceed with any act first pause and think for it will bring honour to you and to the society at large”, Chemno advised.
This year’s celebration is themed; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
