Finally, the 90th edition of the Kenya Music and Culture Festivals held in Nakuru County came to an end over the weekend and Uasin Gishu was declared the overall best county.
The festival brought together 11 counties and Uasin Gishu County ruled in most disciplines with Kalya Dancers from Uasin Gishu scoring the highest mark of 91%.
Baringo and Nakuru emerged 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.
Uasin Gishu County choir emerged the best county choir, MTRH the best mark in class 701, Uasin Gishu County Assembly became the best county assembly choir, University of Eldoret was the best student university choir and Kalya dancers took the best-organised community trophy.
The event brought together more than 200 groups with Uasin Gishu County having the highest number if groups
