Uasin Gishu County aims to be the best in the Kenya Devolution Support Programme (KDSP)
This will qualify the County Government to access funds which meet the requirements.
This was said today during a three-day workshop that was organised by the KDSP in collaboration with the County Government of Uasin Gishu.
The workshop is aimed at looking at opportunities vis a vis the problems encountered that hindered the County Government from accessing the funds the previous years.
Through this, the County Government has committed to putting efforts towards meeting all the requirements and formulating development plans.
On many occasions, the County Government has focused on development, a move that has attracted big investors among them the World Bank.
The three-day workshop is attended by the County Secretary, CECs, COs, Directors and officers from the Finance department.
