Trans Africa Motors settles in Eldoret

Months just after a motor vehicle company- Toyota settled in Eldoret, another company, Trans Africa Motors has driven its way to the fastest growing town and city to be.

Launching the coming in of the motor company, Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno lauded the firm’s noble course of bringing its products to Eldoret.

“Eldoret was recently voted as among the best investment destination cities. Your coming in is a clear indication that we are indeed a model that needs tobe emulated by other towns”, said Chemno.

“There are a lot of economic activities ranging from farming, business and even construction of housing units. You have made the right choice of bringing trucks right at the doorstep”, added the Deputy Governor.

Giving her remarks, Trade, ICT and Industrialization CECM Dr. Emily Kogos welcomed the company citing the availability of market, the gaps the product will serve and the most conducive business environment.

Recently, many organizations have set foot to Eldoret town, this giving an indicator of preparedness of receiving its City status.

With the availability of established infrastructure, natural resources and skilled labour in Uasin Gishu, the towns within the County has so far received many investors and many other proposals of coming in to invest.

Also present during the launch were Chief Officers Simeon Tanui (Trade), John Kemboi (ICT) and Kenneth mbeka (Urban Planning).
