THE ONGOING PIPELINE EXTENSION FOR KABURGEI WATER PROJECT IN SERGOIT WARD, MOIBEN SUB-COUNTY

The Department of Water, Environment, Natural Resources, Tourism and Wildlife Management on Thursday inspected the ongoing extension works of Kaburgei Water Project in SergoitWard, Moiben Sub-County.

The project draws water from a protected spring and has been fully equipped by the County Government of Uasin Gishu with solar panel system, water sump, a pump house and a 18000 litres Steel elevated water tank and has 3 community water points.

According to Moiben Sub-County Water Officer Noah Kebenei who was accompanied by Design Engineer Hancel Bett the project is currently benefitting 50 households, and the extension works of the distribution pipelines is ongoing to target 75 households and Kaburgei Primary School.
