The county government of Uasin Gishu has pledged to work with the national government on matters security.
Speaking in his office when he received a delegation from the national defense college on a courtesy call,deputy governor H.E Daniel Chemno urged the public to be free on sharing information with the security team.
“Sharing information should be a direct link within ourselves. This will aid us in identifying issues that undermine security “said the deputy governor
Among other issues deliberated during the visit was how the agricultural and tourism sector will get facelift in the region basing on the Uasin Gishu’s continuous flagship projects.
The county has attained tremendous efforts in Agricultural sector where it has already subsidized AI services by half, providing the farmers with free accaricites as well as reducing the cost of vaccination from sh80 to sh 50 per cattle.
