The county director of ICT and e-Government Titus Kimaiyo has called on the county youth to take advantage of the ongoing ICT training.
The training which targets close to 600 youth across the county majors on among them, the Ajira Digital Skills and other ICT affiliated programs that equips the youth on entrepreneurial skills
And as the fully-funded training by the county government in conjunction with the ministry of ICT enters the second day, the centers realized the rise in the number of trainees this a positive indicator on the need of youth to acquire skills.
This, according to Kimaiyo shows how the youth are willing to engage themselves with innovations.
We will award you certificates at the end of the training. You will be able to present the certificate not only during the county ICT innovation week that is yet to come but also show that you went through this training” said Kimaiyo
He was speaking on Tuesday in Cheplaskei AIC church, Kesses where the training is being undertaken.
The exercise is carried out by the 8 Training of Trainers from the ministry and county ICT capacity building officers.
