Three years after establishment, Ramillers savings and credit cooperative society limited has proved to deliver more than it was expected to its members.
Initially founded on a merry-go-round group through savings mobilization, the Cooperative society has been able to mobilize and save for its establishment with over 42 members.
The Cooperative Society is one of the beneficiaries of the County Enterprise Fund now paying a loan of Ksh. 2 Million which they loaned to members to engage in diverse activities such as Zero grazing for dairy purposes, poultry keeping, greenhouse, and horticulture farming.
One of their greatest achievements is the establishment of a small milling plant by one of the members to add value addition to their products and provide a market for member’s maize, by milling and producing Ugali Leo.
