Uasin Gishu County Health Services CECM Dr. Everlyne Rotich on Wednesday hosted a team from the National Multi-Agency Command Centre who paid her a courtesy call at her office.
Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Rotich expressed her Departments’ willingness to partner with the Multi-Agency in the strengthening of the county’s capacity to respond to COVID-19 management and prevention.
The Health Executive took the opportunity to urge members of the public to continue adhering to MOH guidelines in the fight against COVID -19, as it’s important in lowering the number of transmissions.
Leading the team, Assistant inspector General William Sing’oei OGW said that the main purpose of their visit was to assess the county’s preparedness on the management of COVID- 19 and also work with the county health management through the support of PCR machine used to test for coronavirus.
The team later visited Kamalel COVID-19 isolation where they inspected the facility.
