MANDAGO WARNS INDIVIDUALS IMPREGNATING SCHOOL GIRLS

Governor Jackson Mandago EGH on Friday warned those impregnating school-going girls that tough action will be taken against them.

Recently, a survey by the Kenya Health Information System shows that many girls aged 19 years below were reported pregnant between January and May.

Leave children to learn,” Mandago said as he called upon parents to take up the responsibility to talk to their children.

Speaking while launching drilling of a water project in Uswo, Moiben sub-county the county boss told parents to “discipline your child and teach them to have good moral”.

We want them to have a bright future, this behaviour must stop,” he added.

County Executive Member for Health Mrs Everlyne Rotich and her Environment counterpart Mrs Mary Njogu and Chief officer Water Simion Kemei and MCA Karona/Meibeki Josphat Lowoi were in attendance.
