Rift Valley Water Services Board will in Conjunction with the County Government of Uasin Gishu engage residents in a public participation forum scheduled for Tuesday the 29th at Kipkaren Estate and later launch groundbreaking of the construction of a water dam.
The board CEO Eng. Hosea Wendot Thursday evening, said all the logistics are in place with the contractor already on site. He led the team who had paid UG Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno a courtesy call at his county office, added that through the Last Mile Connectivity initiative every Kenyan, especially in the outskirts of town, will access clean and safe water.
The DG said that the county is working on Two Rivers Dam. He was pleased and assured them of the Government’s support. “We will work together, we welcome all the well intentions from you as long as it benefits the communities” he concluded.
Last mile connectivity pilot project will be in Eldoret then Kakamega.
