Uasin Gishu County CECM for ICT, Trade and industrialization Dr Emily Kogos and her Roads and Public Works counterpart Eng. Gideon Birir today inspected the ongoing construction works of the multi-million Kimumu Bahati market.
According to Dr.Kogos, phase one of the EU funded state of the art market is projected to be complete towards the end of the year upon which it will give room for the construction of phase two.
“The handing over was supposed to be July but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the works became a little bit slower,” said Kogos
The market will have four cold rooms that will preserve fresh produce.
