These were the sentiments of Finance and Economic Planning CECM CPA Julius Rutto who represented the Governor in the distribution of face mask in Kesses Sub County today.
He said that the safety of the children across the county must be upheld urging the teachers to ensure that all Ministry of Health guidelines and protocols have been followed.
The county head of treasury lauded the teachers for the exemplary work of supporting the learners’ despite the Coronavirus pandemic.
The CECM further disclosed that the administration would in the next financial year consider salary increment to all ECDE teachers.
“In the next financial year 2020/2021, we will consider salary increment of the ECDE teachers,” Said Rutto.
The distribution of the face mask entered day 3 today and is set to proceed to Ainabkoi Sub-County tomorrow.
