Commissioner Joywin Sang, Member CPSB has lauded the last group of interns for their hard work and good organization skills terming them as the best.
Speaking while closing the 12-day internship exercise at Chebororwa ATC, Commissioner Joywin Sang urged the Interns to take advantage of the rare opportunity to sharpen their skills and keep the light of the County shinning wherever they go.
Mr. Seroney who is the Principal Chebororwa ATC urged the interns to conduct themselves with decorum and respect in their respective workstations.
The closing ceremony was filled with songs of joy and cake cutting. Three cakes were cut courtesy of the host Chebororwa ATC, One in honor of the interns, another for the mothers and fathers among the interns and the other for the Secretariat.
The internship program, one of its kind initiative rolled out by Uasin Gishu County aims at giving an opportunity to unemployed graduates to join the workforce and get practical work experience and prepare them for the job market.
Degree holders will be earning a monthly stipend of ksh.13,500 while Diploma and Certificate holders will be earning Ksh 11,500 and ksh 8,500 respectively.
