A multi-departmental team on Friday lauded the progress and preparedness of August’s Devolution Conference that will be held in Eldoret.

County Directors Kiptanui Barno (Administration), Stephen Barno (Water), and Eng. Benjamin Kirongo (Roads) visited Eldoret Sports Club and Hill- School, venues for the conference.

Uasin Gishu County will host the conference from 15th to 20th August 2023, with the theme ’10 Years of Devolution Promoting Growth.

During their inspection of the grounds, Director Barno emphasized the immense significance of the upcoming conference for Uasin Gishu County.

Recognizing the pivotal role of early planning and preparation, Barno commented on the need for arrangements, considering the expected attendance of numerous esteemed delegates.
