GOVERNOR BII’S ADMINISTRATION IS KEEN ON IMPROVING SERVICE DELIVERY THROUGH A MOTIVATED WORKFORCE

The County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management, Administration and Devolved Units Elijah Koskei has reiterated the commitment by Governor Bii’s administration to have a motivated human resource to offer excellent services to the residents of Uasin Gishu.

Speaking on Friday during an inaugural departmental meeting at the Uasin Gishu County hall with staff to welcome the newly appointed chief officer Mrs Marion Birgen, the CECM said they have introduced various programs for capacity building to help enhance productivity by strengthening abilities and skills.

This exceptional event of welcoming our C.O. is a good platform to remind us of the importance of being united and working as a team, not only for our good but also for the benefit of our people in Uasin Gishu,” noted CECM Koskei

The CECM assured the team that the management will support all programs for training to equip them with new skills that will help them improve service delivery.

He urged them to be at the forefront in supporting the administration’s development programs saying that the county is set to start the implementation of various multi-million projects to improve livelihoods and also boost the economy of residents.

On her part, the new CO Marion Birgen asked the staff members to embrace teamwork, integrity, accountability, transparency and equity and embrace innovativeness and consultation as better ways of enhancing service delivery to the residents and becoming more productive as per the county government core values and mission.

She thanked the immediate outgoing acting CO Florence Lagat for her diligence and dedication during her period of service.
