By 2035, some of us in leadership may not be there, some shall have departed and so we need you to continue the journey until our mission to put an end to TB infections is accomplished,” he said.
On his part, County Health Education Officer Mike Ngune noted that the county is supposed to appreciate the President as a symbol of unity, love and harmony, hence the need to prepare students who will be required to train choral verses, songs and other artistic content related to the theme of the year,YES WE CAN END TB. This will also help to deliver the message to the public in the fight against TB.
Director Education Julius Tanui thanked the County for the initiative to bring the Education sector on board saying it will promote the agenda, especially in schools where most students encounter challenges of TB infections due to the nature of crowding.
