COUNTY AIMS AT CEMENTING INVESTOR CONFIDENCE

The County through the Department of Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, Cooperative and Enterprise Development is keen on building investor confidence to make them see the importance of investing their monies and resources in the City of champions.

The Directorate of Trade led by Acting Chief Officer Kipleting Mengich on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Baraka fertilizers which blends various components of fertilizer to meet the soil PH for high yields and Oxyplus International Limited, a major medical and industrial gases, plastic production company which plays a huge role in community social responsibility to check on their general operations.

The visit also saw the county delegation deliberate on how to foster a good working relationship and utilize the already established conducive business environment for existing and upcoming industries by taking into consideration the challenges, experiences, and operations amongst other areas.

The County under the leadership of Governor H.E Jonathan Bii is keen on achieving the Nguzo Kumi manifesto which aims at growing businesses, creating more employment, and utilizing the available resources for value addition,” noted Mengich.

Acting Trade Director Edwin Korir and Trade Administrator Brenda Rono accompanied the Acting CO.
