Ward Administrators have been challenged to enhance and cascade government development agendas at the grassroots.

This is following a consultative meeting with Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii aimed at strengthening the unit that is key in service delivery.

Speaking to the administrators, the County Chief said there’s need for a robust engagement and dissemination of crucial information to the residents.

You play a crucial role in the representation and coordination of services at the ward level and that is the reason why the government is keen on offering the much-needed support to you,” said Bii.

The Governor was categorical that his administration will ensure that they are fully equipped for them to discharge their duties without fail.
“We are backed with the pledges we made to the electorate and the Nguzo Kumi pillars are our guide. It will be ideal if we all align ourselves on them while exercising our mandates,” he added.

Deputy Governor Eng. John Barorot lauded the team for their hard work while calling on them to put their energies into offering development services to the citizens.

He sensitized them on the upcoming Governor’s cup set for April this year that seeks to empower the youth and nurture talents.

In attendance were County Secretary Mr. Edwin Bett, Chief of Staff Mr. Nicholas Chepkwony, Public Service Management Acting Chief Officer, Florence Lagat, and a host of other staff.
