County Executive Committee Member for the Department of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development Mr. Anthony Sitienei today held a meeting with all staff from his department to discuss ways to improve on service delivery to the residents of Uasin Gishu County.

Mr. Sitienei urged the members of staff to provide services to wananchi in a diligent manner and execute duties in a way that will keep the department in line with its mandate, vision and mission.

Our integrity and that of the County at large is in your hands. Your responsibilities should be aligned to your job description and that of the Governor’s manifesto, which we are all aware of as NGUZO KUMI. I have heard the issues raised and what needs to be improved and I will take up with utmost dedication to resolve them and enhance our work environment, ” noted Mr. Sitieney

Ag. Chief Officer Lands Ms. Nelly Jerotich urged the officers to observe time and discipline in the work stations.

Among issues discussed include provision for trainings, welfare, office space, equipment and promotions.
