Acting Chief Officer for Cooperatives and Enterprise Development Isaac Lagat has encouraged registered bodaboda Saccos across the county to recruit more members to join their respective Saccos to enjoy economies of scale.

Addressing Kibagenge Bodaboda Sacco on Tuesday at the Cooperative offices Lagat congratulated them for good governance in terms of repaying the enterprise loans nothing that the department picked them as role models for Bodaboda Saccos in the county through their governance and general management.

Lagat further urged the saccos to continue paying the county motorbike stickers for them to run their operations with ease saying that; “Governor Jonathan Bii is passionate about youths in Saccos and the county government will continue supporting you”

The sacco has a membership of over 500 members with savings of over sh 2.5 million.
