In order to streamline service delivery and set up a framework that will guide the County executive, County Government executive officials on Wednesday organised a breakfast meeting to discuss various issues on finance.
Among the issues discussed includes procurement and how to meet the needs of wananchi in terms of projects as aligned in the budget.
Speaking during the function, Finance CEC noted that the executives should find ways of ensuring the public feel the development in tandem with the availability of funds.
On his part, Finance Chief Officer Peter Chesos emphasized on allocating funds to projects and ensuring that development prioritized.
The controller of the budget, Mr Oscar Lomunan urged all departments to be active in giving their quarterly reports so as to improve the services given to the public.
On the other hand, Millicent Okonjo, Chief Officer, economic planning, requested the executives to be keen on co-mandate and participate in budget planning noting that budgets lead to procurement plans.
” Let us agree on what we are going to accomplish in each and every financial year.” She added.
The meeting was attended by all County Executives, Chief Officers, Directors, County Secretary and Section heads.
