EVERYONE EVERYWHERE HAS THE RIGHT TO WATER

She later concluded the tour with a meeting at Ngenyilel Vocational training Centre (VTC) to hand over the Kapkoi Water project to the contractor for construction works to commence.

Inspecting projects in Tapsagoi Ward, the CECM accompanied by area MCA Samwel Choge, visited Kaptebee Water project which has a water tank of 100cubic meters.

Upon completion and connectivity done to the community, around 56 homesteads will benefit from the water project.

Already, Kaptebee Secondary is relishing a thirst quenched with among others, school fee reduced by 40% since it got connected to water.

Emsos Water project in the same ward is set to serve 10 villages and several institutions within the ward.

Water is an extremely important resource that we cannot live without,” noted the CECM.

“As a county, we want all residents to access water as close as possible and be able to raise their living standards through irrigation of cash crops,” said Njogu as she handed over the construction of Kapkoi Water Project to the contractor.
