County Executive in Charge of Finance CPA Julius Rutto has challenged school going children to work hard so as to accomplish their dreams in future.
Speaking to top class children from Limnyomoi Primary School who visited the County Headquarters this morning to familiarize themselves with how the devolved unit works, Mr. Rutto said that Education was the only equalizer that gives all children equal chance.
He reminded them that time was fast running and the need to utilize every minute they get to improve their academics matters.
The children were taken through the components and functions of the devolved units as well as components of the history of Uasin Gishu.
Ag Administration Chief Officer Wilson Sawe was in attendance to welcome the children.
In the afternoon, the County Government hosted another set of students and teachers from St.Peters Soin from Ngenyilel Ward, Turbo Sub County.
The students were addressed by County Officials from the department of Public Service- Communication and Public Relations Subsection and were welcomed by Ag County Secretary Mr,Edwin Bett accompanied by Ag Chief Officer Administration and Devolution Mr. Wilson Sawe.
Bett challenged the students to take education seriously and work hard for good grades.
