COUNTY SENSITIZES ON OPPORTUNITIES FOR MARGINALISED GROUPS

County Executive in charge of Education and Social Services Joseph Kurgat has urged persons infected/affected by HIV/AIDS across the county to be bold and make use of county’s programmes and opportunities for self-sustainability.

Speaking in Cheramei Turbo Sub County on Tuesday during the last day of sensitization of HIV/AIDS infected/affected on county opportunities, CECM for Education Joseph Kurgat pointed out county’s opportunities among them the Inua Biashara Fund and TVETs as avenues available for grab.

 I’m challenging you to bring your children with you to our offices for assistance. Those with business ideas as well as those willing to join tertiary education the doors are open for you” said Kurgat

He added: You should live a free and happy life free from stress and stigma. Seek leadership from groups in your various jurisdictions because you have same abilities”

Among present were Nominated MCA Mary Goretty, CO Education Jane Njuguna, director Education Roselyn Kosgei, sub-county administrator Wilson Sawe, ward administrators Paul Bitok(Kamagut), Moses Ruto(Kapsaos), Erick Ombok(Huruma) and Nancy Korir(Ng’enyilel).
