COUNTY ENHANCES RECORD KEEPING USING NDUME APP

In enhancing proper record keeping, The Department of Agriculture, Livestock Development and Fisheries through the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project(KCSAP)on Thursday trained Veterinary officers on Ndume App, an app that keeps records on A.I, health and treatments of the animals.

Speaking during the training exercise Directors Dr.Philip Biamah(Veterinary Services) and Simon Langat(Livestock Development)noted that record keeping is key and with the introduction of the app dissemination on breeding of the animals to the County level will be up to date and prompt.

They added that the app will go a long way in easy verification and retrieval of the data by the veterinary officer and the farmer therefore ensuring that the farmers get the maximum profit from their livestock and within the shortest time.
