Uasin Gishu County Government is keen on achieving goals, all in line with the administration’s objectives as well as leaning on the president’s big four Agenda.
Speaking during a County dissemination forum organised by the National Treasury, Finance and Economic planning Executive CPA Julius Rutto highlighted on the County’s financial progress noting the steps his department has undertaken in meeting the administration’s agenda and serving the wananchi.
As the meeting dwelt on the 2018-2022 Third Medium Third Plan(MTP III), Rutto noted that the County has implemented most of the policies and projects it established while others are still in progress.
Giving her remarks, Economic planning Chief Officer Millicent Okonjo noted that the implementation of the big four will not only support higher economic growth and faster job creation but also reduce the high cost of living affecting many people.
Uasin Gishu under the stewardship of H.E Jackson K. Mandago is striving towards meeting all its objectives by the close of 2022.
The MTP III meeting was attended by CECs Dr. Emily Kogos(Trade), Esther Mutai (Cooperatives), Mary Njogu (Environment), Samwel Yego (Agriculture) and County Secretary Edwin Bett and other County officials.
