ALL SUSPECTED COVID-19 CASES MUST BE PUT ON QUARANTINE: H. E MANDAGO

The County Government of Uasin Gishu in its preparedness for prevention of Corona Virus Pandemic is ensuring that any suspected cases, is quarantined to ensure that the virus is not transmitted to others.
The county has set aside Kamalel Health centre as an isolation centre for any emergencies that may arise from the virus.

5 people including a couple and a child who arrived from Qatar recently, have been quarantined at the health centre awaiting tests on the virus after showing symptoms similar to that of Coronavirus.

Governor Mandago has reiterated the need for all residents to stay home to be safe.

In a rejoinder, the CECM for Health Services Mrs Everlyne Rotich, reminded the residents to observe the social distancing and hygiene as the county embarks on sensitisation campaign on Covid-19 across the County.
