H.E Jackson Mandago on Friday held a public baraza at Bindura primary school where he used the event to outline achievements of his administration since 2013.
The governor had earlier visited Bindura High school where he urged students to work hard and be disciplined so as to attain good grades.
H.E Mandago promised to do a follow up with the ministry of education so that the school can get Kshs 6 million for the completion of classrooms and laboratory construction.
The governor further promised to build an Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classes at the school.
“We are determined and committed to ensuring foundation of our children is firm,” said the County Chief.
“We also have a plan to recruit feeder ECDE teachers in the next financial year,” he added.
The governor also said in the next financial year, his administration will set up special school for children with special needs to access.
He further revealed ongoing physical planning of all trading centres with proper structures and public utilities as well as shopping centres.
